This painting, Loyalty, was painted by request of my Dad. It’s and abstract of a rock formation in San Juan Harbor – Perro de Piedra (Stone Dog). Do you see the dog, waiting, with such Loyalty, watching out across the rough seas, patiently braving the elements as he looks for any sight of the return of his master. The master, a fisherman who rarely left for the seas without his dog, loving his dog so much on an especially rough day, elects to keep him safe staying on shore as he braved the elements for his days work. Sadly, there was not a return. Such a beautiful Legend. Loyalty. Hoping it delivers to you the same as it did for me as I painted it… Appreciation for Beauty.
