This is the second of paintings created for my requested Holiday Greeting Card Line. This is a depiction of the dark blue night skies, brilliantly illuminated by the ‘Monrovian Star’ The Christmas Star. This star appears on special years in December when the planets align just right. It creates this beautiful illumination in the skies and can provide navigational assistance today as it has for centuries. Just as it did during the days leading up to the birth of Christ… lighting the way.
I like the feeling of this star illuminating a very dark night, set among the palms.
Hope it brings you a year round spirit of warmth, faith and beauty
