Gratitude – a Feeling that Overwhelms and Touches, and permanently Affects, Colors and Shapes the Heart…. what the Heart Becomes….
I painted this, beginning as a heart, on a day I was overcome with feelings of Gratitude. The lines, colors, shapes and depth, the brushes and palette knives moving in response to such positive feelings, as the image evolved over several days. I was affected by people who have demonstrated deep care, reflecting on love, opportunity, life and faith. The heart grew; its image permanently changed. Many people have shared what they see when they look at this painting… some see a bird, a peacock, some a flower, some a heart… What do you see? What is it reflecting back to you?
