Life…It’s Complicated. Yet, Life… It’s Beautiful.  Like this butterfly… drifting in and out  – layers of transparency and layers of density, yet always moving… This painting symbolizes Life… moments of joy, moments of sadness, moments of beauty, moments of darkness… but ultimately the joy in Life,  and Faith! The beauty is knowing no matter what comes our way…keeping Faith in the darkest of moments brings peace and assurance that it always gets better.

After I had completed this painting – and showed it to my father.  He saw something – a cross -that I didn’t realize was there until he pointed it out.   I see it now clearly, although at the time I had no idea that I had painted it in. It was simply one of those images that surfaces after a painting is complete.  For me when things like that happen, it’s always a joy.  Reminds me, that in Life… God is with us, even when we don’t know or see Him there.  Life is Beautiful…  Enjoy – 💜
